About Black and Blue
I've always preferred writing sad lyrics, that's probably why Black and Blue is one of my favourite songs.
I wrote it in Ireland after a very busy day. It's a song about being lost, forgetting what life is for, feeling meaningless...
It is a song full of dark thoughts, but it's also a call for help.
For me it represents the internal fight of someone who lost the will to live, someone just scared of himself, of the ideas in his head and full of doubts. Someone who really just wants someone to save him, to bring him home.
It's not a song about me or anyone I know. It's a song about everyone who walks down the rails looking for a light. I hope everyone gets home safe.
